About

Aaron Teece is an internationally renowned chef known for his talent and culinary expertise. Born and raised in the Northern Rivers near Byron Bay, he began his culinary journey in Brisbane before venturing to London to expand his knowledge and gain experience. During his time in London, Aaron worked at the prestigious Harvey Nichols' 5th Floor Restaurant. He later transitioned to the private chef path and had the privilege of serving Lady Margaret Thatcher in her retirement years, as well as cooking for notable individuals such as the Queen, and Keira Knightley.

Upon returning to Australia, Aaron was welcomed into some of Sydney's finest establishments, including Astral, Sean's Kitchen, EST., Felix, and Manly Pavilion. Eventually, he established his own business, Studio Neon, which initially functioned as a versatile space for photography and corporate events during the day and transformed into a chic dining venue at night. Aaron quickly became a pioneer of the foraged food movement in Australia, earning a reputation as a go-to chef for food education workshops and tours.

Studio Neon quickly evolved into Studio Neon Catering, operating from a state-of-the-art kitchen facility in Sydney. Aaron catered to the highly elite within their homes and specialised in collaborating with unique brands to bring a creative flair to their activations through food. His services were sought after not only throughout Australia but also from clients in the UK, Europe, New Zealand, and exotic Pacific resorts. Some of his corporate clients included Grey Goose Vodka, Louis Vuitton, Channel 7, Qantas, and Tourism Australia, among others.

In 2019, Aaron and his wife Lauren relocated to the Gold Coast hinterland with the goal of starting a small family, immersing themselves in nature, and growing their own produce. Since then, Aaron has been involved in consulting for multiple businesses, including Tarte Bakery, Alsahwa Resort, and Tokoh, to name a few. He also had the opportunity to serve as Tom Hanks' private chef while the actor was staying in Australia filming "Elvis."

Aaron was then Executive Chef for The Valley Estate Group, which encompasses a large-scale wedding venue and Balboa Italian (a restaurant awarded 1 chefs hat), located on the Gold Coast.

He is currently self employed catering events throughout the country.
